The Perfect Christmas Gifts!

Dear Friends,

Are you looking for the perfect gifts to give this Christmastime? Well, I found them so I'm gonna share!

1. A gentle answer.
"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." -Proverbs 15:1

2. Patience.
"Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." -James 1:19

3. Love.
"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8

PRESCHOOL MINISTRY VOLUNTEER HANDBOOK - All volunteers need to read this handbook. Copies are available upon request or you can pick one up in the hospitality room during weekend services.
NEW VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS - Thank you so much for cooperating with our efforts to update our volunteer files and in so doing keep our children's department as safe as possible. If you haven't received one or you need another copy, let me know and I can email it or send it to you. Your timely completion of these applications is appreciated.

TUTTI FRUTTI PLAYDOUGH RECIPE

Preschoolers absolutely love playdough! Here is a great recipe you can make for your class.
Ingredients:
1 C flour
1/4 C salt
2 TBSP cream of tartar
1 pkg unsweetened Koolaid (optional - if you don't use this, use food coloring.)
1 C water
1 TBSP oil
(I like to double this recipe)
Directions:
*Mix first four ingredients together in saucepan.
*Add the water & oil to the mixture.
*Turn on stove and stir the mixture over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
*Remove from stove when it forms a ball.
*Using your hands, knead the ball until it is smooth.
*To store mixture - let cool then put in a plastic bag and seal.
